Cowhide Leather: 1.Use only leather recommended cleaners or contact an expert for tough stains removal., 2.To remove loose dirt and dust, shake the rug out, preferably outside. Place the rug on a cotton cloth and beat it with your hand. Do not use a rug beater as it may damage delicate leather., 3.Periodically, turn your rug 180 ̊ to ensure even wear and prevent fading caused by sun exposure., 4.Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth. Clean from the edge to the middle of the rug, do not rub., 5.For comfortable use we recommend airing out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (the best would be one or two days). This allows the natural scent of the material to fade., 6.If the rug gets wet, allow it to dry up, away from any heat sources., 7.Brush the pile regularly with a carpet & upholstery brush. If possible avoid vacuuming, it may cause threads to loosen., 8.To prolong the life of the rug, do not place it in high traffic areas.
