However, it is a standard process and is not considered a defect of the product., Production technique: Hand tufting involves injecting yarn into the backing of the rug using a special needle. In this process, the yarn is not as tightly integrated into the backing as in other methods (e.g. woven carpets). As a result, individual threads can sometimes come loose.
Cotton: 1.For tough stains scrape off the dirt from the surface and clean with a non-staining, damp cotton cloth. If need be, use a wool washing liquid. Do not overwet the rug and wipe dry after cleaning. Use only rug recommended cleaners. Contact an expert for tough stains removal., 2.Vacuum once a week on medium suction power using an upholstery attachment, in the direction of the pile., 3.For comfortable use we recommend airing out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (the best would be one or two days). This allows the natural scent of the material to fade., 4.Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth. Clean from the edge to the middle of the rug, do not rub., 5.Periodically, turn your rug 180 ̊ to ensure even wear and prevent fading caused by sun exposure.
