This freestanding 3-shelf bookcase combines open shelving with a concealed bottom cabinet to keep books, files and everyday items tidy. The white finish and bronzed iron handles give a clean, contemporary look that suits living rooms, studies and home offices.
Manufactured from P2 grade MDF and particle board with a melamine veneer and NC spray paint, the unit balances durability with a smooth painted surface that resists everyday wear. Side panels are specified at 1.5 cm thickness for added stability.
Shelves are adjustable via two internal slots on each side, allowing you to tailor storage for taller books or decorative items. Each shelf is rated to carry up to 20 kg to support a selection of books, small electronics or storage boxes.
The bottom cabinet provides concealed storage for private or cluttered items, while the open tiers keep frequently used items within easy reach. The bookcase requires basic assembly; fixings and instructions are supplied.
Wipe painted MDF and melamine veneer with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent for stubborn marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers that can damage the paint or veneer. After cleaning, dry surfaces immediately with a soft cloth to prevent moisture absorption at panel joints.
Keep the unit in a well-ventilated, indoor environment away from prolonged damp or direct contact with water. Avoid placing it in bathrooms or directly beside radiators and unshielded windows. Wipe up spills straight away and allow the area to dry completely to reduce the risk of swelling or distortion of engineered wood panels.
Clean handles with a soft, dry cloth for daily dusting. For heavier soiling use a cloth lightly dampened with mild soapy water, then dry immediately to prevent moisture marks. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or metal polishes that could remove the bronzed finish.
