Built for outdoor use, the canopy is made from 240gsm dyed polyester fabric that is weather-resistant, sun-proof and hard-wearing. The frame combines a rust-resistant powder-coated aluminium pole with eight iron ribs for reliable support and long-term performance in typical garden conditions.
Operation is simple: the smooth crank handle opens and closes the canopy while the tilt mechanism lets you angle the sunshade to block moving sunlight. A foot pedal gives 360-degree rotation so you can position shade exactly where it’s needed without moving furniture.
The umbrella includes a fixing rope for tidy storage when not in use. Please note the base weight is sold separately so you can choose a suitable weighted stand or sandbags for your location and wind conditions.
Brush off loose dirt and rinse the canopy with cold water. For deeper cleaning, use a mild detergent mixed with water and gently scrub with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly until no soap remains and allow to air dry fully before closing or storing to avoid mildew.
Wipe the pole and ribs periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt deposits. For stubborn marks use a mild detergent solution, then dry the metal parts. Touch up scratched powder-coated areas with suitable paint to prevent corrosion, and lubricate moving joints lightly if they begin to feel stiff.
Close the umbrella, secure the fixing rope and store it in a dry, ventilated place if possible. If leaving outdoors, use a breathable furniture cover and ensure the base is adequately weighted. Avoid leaving the umbrella open in strong winds or storms to prevent fabric and frame damage.
