This retractable patio awning creates instant shade for terraces, patios and café fronts. The sizeable 116" x 99" shed (approximately 295 x 251 cm) extends to provide generous coverage, helping to protect outdoor spaces from sun and light drizzle while keeping interiors cooler on hot days.
Built from a premium aluminium alloy frame and thickened yarn-dyed polyester fabric with a PA (polyamide) coating, the awning balances lightweight strength with weather-resistant textile performance. The cloth is designed for sun protection and coordinated outdoor styling in beige.
Operation is manual via a long hand crank, making opening and closing smooth and straightforward. The shed angle is adjustable between 40° and 100°, so you can tailor the shade and sun deflection to different times of day.
The awning is intended for wall mounting on solid surfaces such as cement or brickwork; detailed installation instructions are included. Regular basic care of the fabric and frame will prolong its serviceable life and maintain appearance.
Brush off loose dirt and leaves, then rinse with clean water. For stubborn marks, use a soft brush and mild detergent diluted in water; gently scrub and rinse thoroughly. Allow the fabric to dry completely before retracting to avoid mildew and trapped moisture. Avoid bleach or abrasive cleaners that can damage the PA coating.
Follow any care label provided. For routine care, vacuum on a low setting with a brush attachment to lift dust. Blot spills immediately—do not rub. For washable items, use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; for delicate fibres or structured pieces, professional dry cleaning is recommended.
Light shedding or lint is normal at first for many natural fibres. Vacuum little and often in the direction of the pile for the first few weeks. Avoid strong rotating brushes which can pull fibres. Trim long loose fibres with scissors rather than pulling.
