This tall, natural-finish cat tree combines sturdy engineered MDF construction with soft plush resting areas and durable sisal-covered scratching posts. Plush cushions are fixed with hook-and-loop fasteners for easy removal and cleaning, while the sisal-wrapped posts provide a satisfying surface for natural scratching behaviour. The structure uses 15 mm thick MDF boards and features safe rounded corners and a wide solid base to reduce wobble during energetic play.
Practical details include anti-slip footpads to protect floors, a top perch with a thickened cushion for comfortable naps, and jumping platforms that help cats move between levels. Each layer supports up to 33 lbs, making the tree robust enough for daily use by active pets.
Remove the plush cushions using the hook-and-loop fasteners and follow the cushion care label. For routine cleaning, spot clean with mild detergent and cold water. If the cushions are machine-washable, use a gentle cycle and cold water, then reshape and air dry away from direct heat to avoid shrinking or damaging the filling. Regular airing helps keep them fresh between washes.
To maintain sisal posts, remove loose fibres with a stiff brush or vacuum attachment and trim frayed ends if needed.
