The Wessex extending pedestal dining table pairs a natural oak top with an ivory-finished body for a clean, contemporary look. Its round top measures 100 cm across and can be extended to 135 cm using a butterfly extension, offering flexible dining space without compromising style.
Crafted from oak, MDF and rubberwood, the table combines a solid-feeling oak surface with engineered core components for stable everyday use. The design includes a single pedestal base that gives more legroom than four-legged tables and suits modern open-plan dining areas.
Supplied with two knob options — a modern square metal knob and a classic wooden knob — you can tailor the look to suit either contemporary or more traditional interiors. The table is finished as standard in ivory with a natural oak top and is also available in White and Moon Grey.
Partial assembly is required: the legs attach to the pedestal. Once assembled, the butterfly extension is stored within the top and simply unfolds to lengthen the table, making it a practical choice for variable guest numbers.
Dust painted and rubberwood surfaces regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, use a lightly damp cloth with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner and dry straightaway to prevent moisture penetrating the finish. Avoid harsh chemicals or scrubbing, which can dull or damage the paint.
Keep the extension area free of crumbs and debris by wiping the underside and the mechanism track regularly.
