The Wessex D-End extending dining table combines clean contemporary lines with a natural oak top. Finished as standard in Ivory, the table has stylish panels and a D-end shape designed to sit neatly against walls while offering generous dining space when extended to 170 cm.
Crafted from Oak, MDF, rubberwood, white oak and pine, this table is supplied with a butterfly extension that stores neatly within the top. Two knob styles are included — a modern square metal knob and a classic wooden knob — so you can tailor the look to suit a contemporary or more traditional scheme.
Part-assembly is required: the legs attach to the table base, making installation straightforward. The construction and mixed materials give a solid feel while keeping the overall design light and elegant for modern dining rooms.
The Ivory finish with a natural oak top complements a wide range of dining chairs and interiors; alternative finishes are available in White and Moon Grey for greater flexibility.
Wipe the oak top with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove everyday dust and spills, then dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, prolonged water exposure and direct heat. For untreated or oil-finished oak, apply a suitable wood oil or wax occasionally to nourish the wood and restore sheen; always follow the finish manufacturer’s instructions.
Keep the extension tracks and the underside of the top clear of crumbs and debris by wiping occasionally with a dry cloth. Operate the mechanism gently and avoid forcing it. If the mechanism feels stiff, consult the retailer for approved maintenance advice rather than using household oils or lubricants which might attract dust or affect finishes.
