The Wessex square drop-leaf table combines a natural oak top with a painted base to give a versatile dining solution for smaller homes. Its 90cm square top and two folding leaves make it a practical centrepiece that balances style and function.
Crafted from solid and engineered timbers, the construction uses oak, MDF and rubberwood for a stable surface and supportive frame. The table is finished as standard in Ivory with a natural oak top, and is also available in White and Moon Grey colourways.
A contemporary design with clean straight lines and stylish panels suits modern interiors, while the option of two supplied knobs lets you switch between a modern square metal knob or a classic wooden knob to match your decor.
Part assembly is required — legs are attached to the top — making delivery and handling straightforward. The compact footprint and drop-leaf extension allow this table to adapt to everyday use and occasional entertaining.
Wipe spills straight away with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent water marks. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive pads which can damage the finish. Periodically treat unfinished or oiled oak with a suitable wood oil or wax recommended for oak to nourish the wood and maintain its appearance, following the product manufacturer’s instructions.
Clean the painted base with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water, then dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the paint. For small scuffs, touch-up paint from the same finish colour can be applied sparingly; always test a discreet area first.
