The Thornbury Oak Small Bench is a compact 90 cm seating solution designed for hallways, dining spaces and smaller rooms. Its clean contemporary lines and natural finish bring a light, modern look while keeping the warmth of oak and timber veneers.
Crafted from a combination of oak, oak veneer, rubberwood, pine, MDF and plywood, the bench is finished in a light protective lacquer to resist everyday wear and maintain the timber’s natural tone. The collection features moulded tops and dovetailed drawers in other pieces, reflecting the same attention to detail and construction.
You can choose between an oval metal handle or a round wooden knob, supplied so the seat can suit either modern or more traditional decor. Part assembly is required — simply attach the legs — making it quick to set up at home.
Compact yet practical, the Thornbury bench works equally well as a hallway seat, a dining bench for smaller tables, or occasional seating in a living area, bringing solid timber character in a petite footprint.
Wipe the lacquered oak and oak veneer with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth using gentle, even strokes. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or strong solvents which can damage the lacquer. Dry the surface promptly after light cleaning to prevent moisture sitting on the veneer.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can gradually lighten or alter timber tones. Position the bench away from strong direct sunlight and heat sources where possible. Rotate cushions and move decorative items occasionally to ensure even ageing and maintain a consistent finish.
