Handcrafted with a chunky White Oak top, softened corners and tapered legs, this Quantock console table brings a traditional look with contemporary details. The compact 60cm width and 30cm depth make it a perfect slim solution for narrow hallways, living rooms or as a hallway catch-all.
The single dovetailed drawer runs smoothly and is fitted with a contemporary rustic metal pull handle, while the piece is finished in an attractive modern wax that enhances the natural grain of the oak. Construction uses oak, pine and engineered MDF components for a stable, long-lasting table that still showcases a solid oak top.
Aimed at easy ownership, the console arrives partly disassembled: the top attaches to the tapered legs and a shelf is inserted during simple final assembly. At 16 kg it is lightweight enough to manoeuvre for placement yet solid enough to feel durable under everyday use.
Wipe the waxed oak surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth using only clean water. Avoid soaking the surface; dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, furniture polishes containing silicone, or bleach as these can strip or dull the wax finish.
Dust regularly with a soft cloth to remove grit that could scratch the surface. Every 6–12 months (or sooner in high-use areas), refresh the wax finish with a thin coat of furniture wax recommended for oak. Apply sparingly, buff to a soft sheen and allow adequate drying time before use.
