These traditional Tailors Chalks from Hancocks are made from China Clay. The chalk is manufactured so that the mark will stay on whilst work is in progress and is as easy as possible to brush off when the work is finished. Customers are advised to test the chalk on the reverse of the fabric before starting work as sometimes the chemical finish in the fabric can react with the chalk making it difficult to remove.
