This sculptural vase pairs a hand-blown glass vessel with an individually selected teak root driftwood base. The glass is moulded onto the wood to create a 'molten' effect that looks as if the glass is melting into the timber, producing a striking, Dali-style centrepiece.
Each glass insert is removable, making it possible to clean the vase separately from the wooden base. Because each piece is handcrafted from natural root wood and hand-blown glass, variations in grain, colour and form are part of the design and make every item unique.
The piece is intended as a decorative, functional artwork for indoor display. Do not place near heat sources, open flames or use with candles. Allow any water used for flowers to be removed promptly to protect the timber base.
Careful handling and simple routine cleaning will keep the vase looking its best: treat the glass with non-abrasive cleaners and gently dust or wipe the wood with a soft cloth to preserve the natural driftwood finish.
