This charming Wren is a hand-carved decorative bird carved from Indonesian albizia, known locally as 'silk tree'. The figure has been carefully hand-painted to give colourful detail while retaining the natural feel of the wood. Each piece carries the warm tones and texture of albizia wood.
Because every item is hand crafted, each Wren is unique in appearance and colours may vary from the photographs. Sizes and weights are approximate due to the artisan process, so small variations in carving and paint are normal and part of the product’s character.

Dust the ornament regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a soft-bristled brush to remove loose dust. Avoid using water, household cleaners or solvents on the painted surface, as these can lift paint or damage the finish. If necessary, very lightly dampen the cloth with water and dry immediately.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and strong heat sources can cause hand-painted colours to fade or alter the wood’s appearance. To preserve the finish and colour intensity, display the ornament away from direct sun and radiator heat where possible, and rotate its position occasionally to minimise uneven fading.
