This is the BASE ONLY for the Bali parasols; the parasol is not included. The design uses slices of grey slate bonded within a crushed granite and marble composite to create a heavy, reliable foundation. The mix of materials gives a terrazzo effect while retaining the natural texture of slate.
Handmade in small batches, each base has subtle variations in shading and surface finish that make every piece unique. The slate faces and terrazzo composite offer an attractive, tactile contrast that suits both contemporary and rustic outdoor settings.

For routine cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft cloth and warm water with a little mild, pH-neutral detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry with a cloth to avoid water marks. Avoid acidic cleaners, strong solvents or abrasive pads, which can dull or damage natural stone and terrazzo finishes.
Handmade stone surfaces show variations and develop character with use.
