These handmade Balinese folding fans combine slim bamboo ribs with colourful recycled Bali Batik fabric for a charming, eco-conscious accessory. Supplied as a pack of 10, each fan is individually patterned so no two are identical. Colours and motifs are randomly mixed across the pack.
At approximately 30 cm in length, the fans are a practical size for personal cooling and make striking decorative accents for weddings, parties and summer events. As each fan is handcrafted, dimensions and appearance may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Lightweight and compact when folded, these fans slip easily into bags or can be grouped as table decorations. The natural bamboo structure offers good flexibility and the batik fabric gives each fan a distinctive, traditional look.
Spot-clean the Batik fabric with a soft cloth dampened in lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Blot gently rather than rubbing to avoid damaging prints and avoid saturating the fabric. Leave the fan open to air-dry away from direct sunlight to preserve colours and prevent shrinkage.
