Beautiful hand-made Balinese ceremonial parasol, crafted in small batches by a family workshop in Ubud, Bali. Each parasol is hand-carved, hand-printed, hand-woven and hand-painted on the fabric, giving an authentic, artisanal finish and natural variations in colour and gold print between batches.
The canopy spans 2 metres and the overall height is 260 cm, making this a striking decorative sun parasol for gardens and patios. The pole is jointed for easy storage and uses a high quality metal screw fitting, which is longer lasting and more secure than split pole or wooden peg systems.
This parasol is supplied without a base. It is not waterproofed, so to protect the fabric and slow UV bleaching you should use a good quality UV and weatherproof parasol cover when the parasol is not in use. Always ensure the parasol is completely dry before storing to prevent mould.
Colour and finish will vary slightly from piece to piece due to the hand-made processes. The parasol makes a decorative focal point for outdoor seating areas, covered terraces or sheltered gardens — but it requires sensible care and storage to maintain its appearance.
