This 40cm round mirror is made from individually carved pieces of teak root arranged in a circular, driftwood-style frame. The natural variation in the root wood gives each mirror a distinct character and appearance.
The mirror is hand crafted, so no two pieces are identical. Slight differences in texture, colour and exact dimensions are to be expected, making each item one-of-a-kind and ideal where an authentic, organic look is wanted.
With a shallow 6cm frame depth the mirror sits neatly on a wall without projecting far into the room. The solid wood construction provides a tactile, natural feel while the central mirror glass gives practical reflection.
Also available in larger sizes (60cm and 80cm), this design suits spaces where a rustic, coastal or natural aesthetic is desired. Choose the size that best fits your space to create a focal point or accent.
For the glass, use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth (not directly onto the mirror) to avoid moisture reaching the wooden frame. For the teak root frame, dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth. If deeper cleaning is needed, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately to avoid water absorption.
Teak root is a natural, solid wood and can respond to prolonged exposure to high humidity or direct sunlight with small changes in colour or slight movement. To prolong appearance and stability, avoid placing the mirror in constantly damp locations (such as unventilated bathrooms) and limit prolonged direct sun exposure where possible.
