This hand-made Balinese ceremonial parasol is crafted by a small family workshop in Ubud. Each piece is hand-carved, hand-printed, hand-woven and hand-painted, giving every parasol unique character and artisanal detail that suits decorative and ceremonial use.
The parasol has a 2 metre canopy and a jointed pole designed for easy storage. The pole joint uses a high-quality metal screw fitting rather than a split wooden joint, offering a longer-lasting connection and simpler operation compared with cheaper joint systems.
Please note these parasols are not waterproofed. To reduce sun-bleaching and protect the fabric and gold print, use a good quality UV and weatherproof cover when not in use. Always store the parasol completely dry to avoid mould.
Colours and the intensity of the gold print can vary between small handmade batches. The parasol is supplied without a base, so select a suitable heavy base or stand for outdoor use.
