These small teak wall cladding panels are handcrafted from upcycled and reclaimed teak salvaged from discarded boats and furniture. Each panel brings natural, warm timber tones and the unique patina of reclaimed teak into interior spaces, making it ideal for feature walls in homes or commercial settings.
Because the wood is reclaimed and hand finished, every panel is unique in grain, colour and surface texture; sizes and weights are approximate. The panels are supplied as long 3 metre slats (300 cm) with a nominal width of 25 cm, so they make a striking vertical element when installed in runs.
This is a special-order product and is not held in UK stock. Please allow up to 25 weeks for delivery. Due to the 3 metre length, there may be an extra delivery charge because of the longer pallet size, so customers are advised to contact the retailer before ordering.
The nature of reclaimed teak means the surface may show the character of its previous life — small nail holes, repairs and weathering are part of the appeal and add depth and authenticity to interior schemes.
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush to remove surface dirt. For spot cleaning, use a lightly damp cloth with a few drops of mild liquid soap, wiping along the grain and drying immediately with a dry cloth. Avoid saturating the wood or using strong chemical cleaners, abrasives, bleach or solvents as these can damage the timber and its natural patina.
Keep indoor humidity stable and avoid prolonged direct sunlight to reduce the risk of splitting, warping and fading. If you prefer a deeper, refreshed look or extra protection, test a teak oil or conservation-grade wood oil on an inconspicuous area first; follow the product instructions and reapply sparingly as needed. Any oiling will alter the appearance, so always try a small patch before treating the full panel.
Light surface marks can often be reduced by gentle rubbing with fine-grade (0000) steel wool or very fine sanding along the grain, followed by re-oiling or using a matching maintenance product. Always test repair methods on a hidden area first, and avoid aggressive sanding that removes character or thins the reclaimed surface.
