This large Root Console Table pairs a safety-glass top with a sculptural base formed from the roots of a single teak tree. Each piece is handcrafted, so the base’s natural shape, grain and colour vary—no two tables are identical. The glass provides a clean, level display surface while leaving the organic root form visible underneath.
Because the base is natural teak root, you may notice markings or slight variations from the wood’s natural oils. Sizes and weights are approximate and will vary with the unique root shape; the listed dimensions represent the typical size for this large model. A small size is also available with a smaller glass top.
The glass top is safety glass for everyday use and is easy to keep clean. To protect both the wood and your floors, we recommend using protective pads between the table and the floor or carpet and avoiding harsh cleaning agents on the wood. Regular gentle care will preserve the table’s appearance and character.
Clean the safety glass with a soft microfibre cloth and a standard glass cleaner or a mild detergent diluted in water. Spray cleaner onto the cloth rather than the glass to avoid runoff onto the wooden base. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders or ammonia-based cleaners, which can scratch or streak the glass. Dry with a clean lint-free cloth to prevent watermarks.
Dust the teak root regularly with a soft cloth or brush to remove grit that can scratch. For occasional cleaning use a lightly damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap; avoid soaking the wood.
