This Root Forest side table pairs a 60 cm round safety glass top with a striking base formed from the root of a single teak tree. The combination of clear glass and organic teak root creates a sculptural accent piece that works equally well as a bedside or occasional table.
Each table is hand crafted, so no two bases are the same. The natural form of the root gives a one-off silhouette and textural interest that can't be replicated by standard moulded furniture. Slight variations in appearance are part of the character of this product.
The teak root base is left with a natural finish and may show marking from the wood's natural oils. The glass top is safety glass, sized for balance and proportion with the base. We recommend placing on a flat surface and using a protective pad under the legs to protect floors and carpets.
