This root mushroom dining chair is hand carved from teak roots by Indonesian artists, celebrating the natural character of the timber. Because the chair is made from reclaimed teak root, the grain, tone and exact shape vary between pieces. The natural teak root surface develops a warm patina with everyday use. Minimal maintenance keeps the wood looking its best: regular dusting, occasional wiping with a damp cloth, and conditioning with a suitable oil every year will protect the timber and emphasise its grain.
