Measuring approximately 40 x 40 x 40 cm and weighing roughly 22–32 kg, the base is intentionally substantial to resist tipping and provide a secure footprint on patios and garden settings. Sizes and weights are approximate due to the unique nature of each handcrafted base.
To keep the teak looking its best, regular gentle cleaning and simple maintenance will prolong the wood’s appearance and performance outdoors. Follow routine care guidance to retain either the warm, honeyed finish or allow the timber to mellow to a silvery patina.
For routine cleaning, wipe the teak base with a soft cloth or sponge and a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow the wood to dry naturally. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach or abrasive pads, which can damage the surface and remove natural oils from the wood.
Small hairline cracks and changes in colour are normal for solid outdoor teak and usually do not affect structural performance.
