This large round Spider coffee table is hand carved by Indonesian artists from the root of a single teak tree. Each piece is a unique sculptural object; the natural form of the root gives a one-off base that cannot be exactly replicated.
The table is offered in the natural teak root finish and the style is also available with a glass top for a smoother surface while retaining the character of the root base. Because it is a natural wood product, marking from the wood's natural oils may be visible and adds to the piece’s character.
